A pedal car is a four-wheeled human-powered land vehicle. It is also referred to as a quadricycle, quadcycle, quadracycle or four-wheeled bicycle amongst other terms. Pedal cars have been in use since 1853 and have grown into several families of vehicles for a variety of purposes, including tourist rentals, pedal taxis, private touring, mountain and industrial use.

What is a Pedal Car

Principles and Rules of Pedal Car Races
- Cars can be driven by 1 to 4 drivers. All riders must have a current license of the club.
- It is up to the overtaking pedal car to choose its lane and overtake, the most important rule to do so without a risk.
- “Slow” cars must drive on straights and large radius curves on the right side of the racetrack. It is forbidden to block a faster car with one or more cars.
- Cars that must return to their pits for repairs must respect the route of the race.
- A car that does not finish the race with the not destroyed bodywork in the starting condition can be aesthetically reduced.
- Drivers cannot race multiple cars in a race.
- Only members of clubs with current contributions should be present in the stands. (Annual, daily or fan club license).
- Clubs are asked to assist the organizers by organizing their stands.
- Riders can move from one club to another.
So…
Everything that is not forbidden is allowed.
Sportsmen should do some clowning, and clowns should do some sport.
